Getting closer to arrival day!!!

 So.... Funny seems to be doing well. Apparently her and Geronimo are taking turns being good and being naughty. Hee hee. She's learning to tie... and she got her coggins and health certificate done too. :) And she's gotten taller again too!

Weaning

 Poor baby girl!!! She got weaned this week. The good news is that her friend, Geronimo, and her are both going to be able to take the same trailer to my house... and then Geronimo will head up north to New Hampshire. So that makes me happy because I feel like she'll be less stressed. Unfortunately, in order to get him up North before it gets too cold, they'll have to ship at the end of October/early November, which means... weaning this week. That way they'll have time to recover from weaning before the big trip. Apparently they were pretty sad the first day. Mellani tried to keep them together but I guess Geronimo has the hots for Funny because he apparently tried to mount her repeatedly! Doh! So now they are separated. Hopefully they can hang out again soon and be friends, but no benefits. hee hee. 

Sporting her new fly mask :) Although I also got her a purple unicorn one. :) Hee hee... She'll have to grow into it though.

Ooooh sassy pants!!!! Her and Dan are going to have so much fun if they can play nice. :) 

Sweet and Sassy

 So.... turns out she's sweet but also a bit of a sassy pants. :) Mellani told me today that she didn't follow mom through the gate into the pasture and went exploring by herself for 20 minutes before she would come back in. Sounds about right. :) Ha ha....  Already following in Uncle Dan's footsteps. #imightbedoomed! hee hee... I Love it!!

Oh my!!! Her Trot!!!!!!! I'll be honest, I had not seen her trot before I bought her. Hee hee... I was smitten. :) Turns out... that's a nice trot!

 Eeeeeahhhhhhh.... I LOVE her!

Today she went with Filagree for Filagree's recheck and she got her prepurchase exam. She was a good girl and passed. She also had some zoomies and did her first up and down bank, and her first water. :) She's an eventer at heart!

And baby girl loads... even without Momma :) I'm so proud!

 Welcome to the Family Funny!

I took the plunge and decided to purchase this adorable filly! She is by Butterwap Confetti out of Filagree, a Hanoverian mare. She was born May 30th, 2020. She will get to come home in October/early November. I cannot wait to meet her. 

Luckily, her breeder, Mellani of Confetti Farms, has been sending me videos and photos. :)
