Bestest Funny Bunny

After I rode Dan today, we decided to take Funny on a walk around the neighborhood! Despite the fact that it was 25-30 mph winds... and a teeny bit chilly. And she was perfect! We walked around the whole neighborhood... about 30 minutes. We passed a lady in her driveway who was quite smitten with Funny. Then as we went around the curve, a car came up and Funny spooked. But it was a small spook and then she was fine. Then a golf cart came up with a cattle dog running beside it. The cattle dog was determined to get to us despite the owner yelling at him. But Funny and Dan were so good! They just stood there and waited and then we walked off, while the dog was still coming towards us or being chased around by his owner. We even trotted a bit from the corner and along the dam! 

Such a good girl! I think we're just about ready for Ashland!

Another Adventure

 Gnatty trail ride. Went to the 1080 house and took the trail to the left, just to the edge of the lake. Saw another bicycle but freaked out when he went past. Settled quickly. trotted some. good girl!

Then evening shenanigans! Chasing Emma. Trying to get Mike and I to play. reared up on Dans bum and almost went over him!

We trailered!!!!

 Funzi was bored this morning so I told her we would do something fun today. I was so tempted to take her on a trail ride around the neighborhood again but Peri and Kelli wanted to ride, so I took Dan to Ashland instead. BUT... when we got home, I left him on the trailer and grabbed Funny. She walked right onto the ramp and then changed her mind. It took about 5 minutes, but then she decided she was going on and she barged right in! She stood happily and investigated the hay net and Dan and let me put the butt bar up. Then she let me put the ramp up and was still calm. So, I started up the truck and took her on a spin around the neighborhood! It was just a quick circle, but she was super. I could see her nose poking out the window like Dan does. We got back and she only jumped a teeny bit when the ramp dropped. She unloaded quite calmly and stood there while I got Dan unloaded. YAHOO!! What a good girl! Now to just get her a bit fitter and then we can try going places and ponying with Dan. :) 

Big Day

 We ponied around the neighborhood! Well to the tennis courts and back. We met a truck. We met a dog and a man on a bicycle. We even trotted! She was SUPER! She remembered where to keep her head. She wasn't scared of the lake or anything. :) 

Yay!! We kept it to 15 minutes to not over do it on the first day.
