Politely tacked up and headed to arena. Did pillar walks. Lunged and was a bit sassy but too hot to do more than snake her head and canter a few strides.
got on and rode. Very good girl. Didn't like the new bit and bridle, but settled into it. Much better steering. trotted nicely although took a bit to get into trot. Figured out steering while trotting some too. Saw the cat, didn't spook.
Even walked two ground poles and then trotted a single ground pole twice!!
Then got brave and exited Jean's gate without dismounting. walked through the "puddle" but footing was funny so backed up. Met the statues. Spooked briefly at the flag waving but only startled. Didn't mind Art and his sprinklers in the garden. She was doing so good we went to the lake. Passed by a car, no concerns. At lake saw the heron, jumped in place but that was it. Turned around and headed home.
SUPER GOOD GIRL!!!!
