Fun's first real snow!

So I guess we did get snow back in 2022, but it was barely a dusting. This was a legit snow!!! Mike woke me up and it was coming down!! And had already covered much of the pasture! I threw on clothes and my contacts and went out to play!

  

  

The ponies were silly and seemed to enjoy it. We played for a bit and then they had breakfast and then we played some more. And then... after about 2 hours, it turned to sleety rain and got a lot less fun. And by that afternoon, it was just icky cold and more icy snow than fluffy snow. But the ponies stayed warm in their jammies and I tossed plenty of hay. We lost power from about 7 pm to 3:30 am so I didn't do night check, but they were fine. 

Funny tasted the snow and made snow angels :)
