Funny lesson... HUGE improvement. Rana was so impressed!
A little sassy when I took her away from Dan. But so much better in the arena.
Even put the cavesson on her and did some trotting on purpose.
Focus on keeping the hind end tracking up with the front, not swinging out. That requires bend, which she's not quite there yet. But we'll get there. Send the shoulders out... keep the nose in and soft. And her trot is too fast. But she can't figure out how to slow trot just yet. She got a few steps here and there and went LOVELY when she did. So work on that. Then when she can moderate her trot.. she can soften her neck.. and lift her back and bend. But... Get A, before B and C.
Rana said she was so impressed at the change. She said "it's like you've been working on this for 3 months.. not 3 days"!. :) baby girl is a smarty pants! Plus... we have been doing it at home. She was just super naughty at Rana's because it was new last time.
