Wild but fun day

 Oh Bunny... you were a wee bit naughty today!

After breakfast I loaded her and Dan up to go meet Kelli at Ashland. I got confused about our plan and was there a little early, so I left Funny on the trailer (without her lead rope) and took Dan to the arena for a little lunging. He was naughty too and played tug of war 3 times. He even ran all the way back to the trailer! Anyways, Funny was mad and fussing in the trailer and apparently managed to somehow break her unicorn halter. NO!!!!!! Ugh. Luckily I had the rope halter in the trailer. So then after I worked Dan and Kelli got there I pulled her off. She was sassy! She kept wiggling and being silly. Kelli let me borrow a bit so we put it on the cavesson and put it on. Then Kelli rode while I worked Funny. She was a bit sassy and rowdy at times but nothing major. We got some nice work and she forget about the bit some too. 

Then we headed back to get Dan and I hopped on him bareback. Kelli was done then so we went on a hack. Twice (or maybe 3 times) Funny grabbed some grass and about pulled me off Dan! We ended up hacking alongside the creek and then finished in the lake. Funny wallowed as usual and splashed like crazy. She ALMOST went for a swim! She got in pretty deep but never got buoyant. But close. We headed back to the trailers because Dan and I had to go to Aiken to see Dr. Keelin this afternoon. I rinsed Funny first and Dan was fussy but stood. Then I tied her up and took him. I'm not sure why I thought she'd be fine, but... I don't know, I guess I did. Nope. She broke loose and luckily ignored Marvin (other than apparently giving him a mare stare) and then came and found us. Except she then turned and backed her butt up to Dan threatening to fire off. Dan was like "Um, dude.. I'm just standing here, why are you coming at me like that?!". Luckily she just backed into us and when I yelled, she sort of backed off. I finally got them both wrangled and rinsed and then we headed home. Funny loaded and unloaded well both times today so yay for that. Now I'm just so sad about her halter. Oh, and Dan managed to break his too! Seriously guys?!

Oh and then tonight, when I brought Dan home from Aiken, all 3 of them came up to say hi, but only Funny stayed in the stalls next to him. The other two wandered off to eat grass. And then Funny and Danny had a grooming session. Awww, she loves him so much. I think he was grateful for her tonight.
