Fufu and I rode at home today. She was a good girl but still set on turbo. I can't seem to get her to settle and breathe. We did get some good moments today though. I did more cantering within the ride so that's it's not so exciting. But.. ha! It didn't really work. We did finally finish with a nice lovely soft connection with giving hands and her reaching and a decent tempo at the trot. It just took us an hour to get there. Doh!
Then as we were hacking home in the pasture I thought I might try trotting in the field to see if that made a difference. Not really. She was still chompy and quick although maybe a hair better? I guess I might have to try it at Ashland next time we're there.
