Bonus groundwork day

 I had a break mid-day today so I was able to sneak in some groundwork with all 3 ponies! Yay! And it warmed me up. 

Funny was the last one in and as she walked into the arena, Dan took a big chomp at her over the gate. Luckily her blanket protected her but dude! I did pull her jammies while we did our groundwork. 

We started with pillar walking and I added a few more transitions than with the others. I also focused on shifting her weight back and engaging those pecs. Because baby girl has boobies like me... nothing! We did the fan and she was good in the middle but struggled with the tighter distance. We did the shallow serpentine which she was pretty good at. We also did the maze and the raised poles. She was good! 

We added in some leg yields in hand and then went back to pillars and played with big walk.... short walk... big walk... short walk. She's so smart! We also backed up a few times and then I played with getting her to rock back without stepping back. (Again, engaging the pectorals). Then we ran out of cookies. :) I stretched them out towards the end, but at that point, I also had to get going to make it to my last farm on time. :) 

Good pony! I'm grateful I got to sneak in a little work for all three and glad I did thata instead of sitting on the couch scrolling through facebook.
