I got off of work "early" today. So I decided to lunge a pony and Funny volunteered as tribute. :)
We did some groundwork first, although I didn't fully prepare the treat pouch. Whoops. But we did some turn on the haunches and turn on the forehand. Tracking right is way harder. We also did the swervy poles and then some ground poles at the walk. Then I put the equicore band on and we lunged. I trotted her about 5 minutes each way and then we had a little canter each way. And that was it! She was nice and soft and relaxed.
She's so sweet. After we finished I untacked her and turned her loose and went to get Dan and she followed me. Oh I love a snuggly girl!
