rode at home. So hot. didn't want to go to the arena so went to the lake first. then got scared at the lake, so then went to arena. still hot and steamy but got shaded by the end. quick today.. but had some good moments. i was looking for the try and it was there. lots of rewards with microreleases. but still guick and runny at times. by the end, i had a half halt though.. she would get "heavy" and I would close my leg, close my thigh, squeeze my fingers, and squeeze my "core energy" and she would rock back. only for two strides but still. it was there. finished with a nice self carriage trot in balance over the trot poles so quit right then and there!
