Best baby horse on a super windy day
rode with kelli in arena. was really good but got a bit rowdy and worked up at the end. Gave her a walk break to chill and she was much more focused. (NOTE TO SELF) Ran through the test... not too shabby!
When tracking left, really sink into outside stirrup to help counteract her throwing me to the inside. Kelli also suggested it when tracking right, but... i feel like it makes her counterbent and braced. Even weight in my stirrups really seemed to work best, but.. maybe it's because she's cheating??
Then went for a hack in the woods mostly alone. Kelli walked to XC and then left us. Trotted through water complex for practice. Went to lake and started to paw so moved on out. no rolling. it's cold!
Very good with high winds!
