Jump lesson
almost late
got rained out.... so waited it out.. then rode in the sparkly sunshine while it was still raining. kind of fun
funny was naughty!! her bucking/rearing/squealing/kicking thing again... bopped on the forehead two or three times (all separate instances) with the crop. had to have words about trotting the trot poles, but... the argument in the beginning of the lesson paid off towards the end. She was much much more ridable! I had to hold her... and as soon as I softened, she "bolted", but... she did allow me to hold her at least . and that canter.. THAT CANTER THOUGH!! Talk about a super uphill powerful "we can do anything from here" canter. ooooohhhhhh. Had to hold her hand (face) over the fences too but I did release once she left the gorund. Jumping much more uphill now too. but still wants to run. but probably always will
margaret made the comment... "she's gonna be an amazing athlete... if you can survive her testing you and get her on your side". ha ha. right?!?
