Beating the weather.... but not ;)
met kelli for Marvin's 25-30 min walk. Walked to the lake and back.. then to the jump arena warm up area.. then back to trailers. Then went off for our own ride. Didn't want to leave marvin, but did.
hacked.. saw two of the three baby geese who are now teens. they seemed lonely and sad, but hopefully they'll do okay. Also some some baby armadillos. so gross and pink and fleshy! Spooked funny but only briefly.
did some fitness stuff... trots and canters. in the rain.. and the sunshine.. at the same time. kinda cool. then it got humid again.
went to xc and tried to get a nice fancy trot. Kind of achieved it ;) Did the water and up bank and dry down bank and popped a few fences. she was jumping nicely. Could have done the whole novice course as it was set for the weekends show, but... no vest... alone... probably would have been fine, but no real need too. definitely ready to move up to training at ashland if we show there again. which is a nice feeling.
good pony!! Super fun. got some fitness work and enjoyed ourselves.
